Tuesday, March 13, 2018 - Unit Sumber, under Jabatan Pembangunan Masyarakat had cooperated with the Bulan Sabit Merah Negara Brunei Darussalam in performing the workshop which was held for the officers and staffs for two days, on the 12th to 13th March 2018, which took place at Dewan Imtiyaz in Pusat Bahagia, Brunei and Muara District.

The workshop is very important as it provides crucial skills needed, especially in dealing with emergency situation in everyday life no matter while at work or at home.

First Aid is the first response treatment given with the intention of saving lives, also hoping to ease the pain of the person and in a way to stabilize the person’s body so that it will cause no serious injury.

A total of 18 participants, including one staff who is visually impaired, had successfully completed the workshop. The participants were then certified as “first aider” and given a legal license which can be used for two years. With this workshop, the participants will hopefully be able to practice the learnt knowledge and skills whenever needed.
