TO
PROVIDE basic fundamental knowledge regarding the direction of the
International Red Crescent Society and International Red Cross, the Red
Crescent Society of Brunei-Muara District is currently holding a
four-day leadership training camp from March 15 - 19, at the Jubli Perak
Garden.
The participating 60 students will get the chance to receive motivational and leadership training, with hopes that they will be the future generation to continue Red Crescent activities in the country.
According to a statement release, the society hopes to produce established unit school leader's who are disciplined and progressive.
At the same time, the four-day camp will open up possibilities for interaction, knowledge exchange to increase the member's experience in group works that are in line with the values of the Red Crescent Society.
Every School Unit are asked to send a minimum of three students who are confirmed as unit school leaders in their respective schools. The main focus of the training is to give background training on 'Youth on the Move', Exploration of Human Rights Law, and Basic Introduction to First Aid.
The camp will be holding talks, lectures, practical group works, as well as motivation training in groups.
Students will also be introduced to survival and leadership training.
